Spa Nalai, Park Hyatt New York’s atelier spa, is thrilled to introduce their latest spa experience, Jet Lag Therapy, launching on the 15th February 2016. Expertly composed to alleviate the discomfort and physical ailments associated with travelling across multiple time zones, Spa Nalai’s Jet Lag Therapy promotes both relaxation and rejuvenation to ensure travellers make the most of their time in New York City.
Created with jet-set travellers in mind, this 90-minute session aids guests in overcoming swelling, bloating and body water retention along with shoulder and back pain often experienced from long flights. The treatment begins with dry exfoliation of the entire body using heated exfoliation gloves along with an application of anti-fluid gel and is followed by an invigorating massage with the H. Gillerman Travel Remedy; a balancing blend of essential oils used to reduce the discomfort associated with time-zone shifts and sitting for an extended period of time.
The Jet Lag Therapy Massage includes a cooling foot mask and an abdominal massage featuring warm stones to reduce body water retention and overcome the feeling of heaviness. Long, rhythmic massage strokes and stretching of the arms and legs promote circulation, ensuring the body is re-energised. The Jet Lag Therapy concludes with an invigorating scalp massage with peppermint essential oils to help overcome headache and tension associated with stress and dehydration, correlated with lengthy travel.
Spa Nalai’s 90-Minute Jet Lag Treatment is available from 15th February 2016 and starts at $350. For more information on Spa Nalai at Park Hyatt New York, or to book a treatment, call (646) 774-1210 or visit www.parkhyattnewyork.com.
